Brief historical background, collections and exhibitions of the museum
Status: Private museum.
In 2017, the Chocolate Museum in Belokurikha-2 was founded by the Altai sculptor and jewelry artist Vladimir Voychishin. Since the early 1990s, he lived and worked in Kenya, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, the USA, Germany, England, the Netherlands, and Canada. In these countries, he pursued artistic self-education and created sculptural compositions from various materials: ebony, cedar, bronze, and precious metals. The talented master has created over 500 sculptures from such materials. The sculptor was introduced to chocolate as a creative medium in New York, so many years later, he did not hesitate to create the Chocolate Museum in Belokurikha-2.
The core of the collection consists of sculptural compositions created by the museum's founder, Vladimir Voychishin. The museum features his works made from chocolate, as well as from other materials such as ebony, cedar, bronze, and precious metals.
