Brief historical background, collections and exhibitions of the museum
The Zavyalovsky Museum of History and Local Lore was opened on November 16, 1973, by the decision of the district executive committee.
The museum's funds are replenished with authentic documents and items from different years. Correspondence is maintained with interesting people who lived in the Zavyalovsky district, meetings of famous fellow countrymen with the younger generation are organized, and holidays and master classes are held.
The museum features the following expositions: "Archaeology of the District," the Hall of Military Glory, "The Russian Izba," "The Virgin Lands," and "Meet the Zavyalovsky District." Temporary exhibitions present materials about poets, artists, and athletes of our district, as well as photographs and documents reflecting historical events of recent years.
The expositions on archaeology, "The Russian Izba," and the Hall of Military Glory are of particular interest.
