District Museum of Local Lore of Bystry Istok village

Documents have been collected about the first revolutionaries, the first organizations of the village, the first Bolsheviks, revolutionary events, the Civil War, and partisans. The museum stores photographs of villagers who gave their lives in the war, and photographs and documents of the victors who returned home. Work is being conducted with veterans of Afghanistan and Chechnya. The collection of information about participants in the special military operation has begun.

The museum's collection includes: household items, rushnyks (embroidered towels), belts, antique clothing, shoes, furniture, etc.; a stamp collection; a badge collection; materials about famous fellow countrymen — scientists, writers, poets, artists, musicians, agricultural workers of the district; photographic material about the People's Artist V.S. Zolotukhin.

The museum offers tours on the following themes:

1. "History of the Bystry Istok District and Village"
2. "The Russian Izba (traditional log house)"
3. "The Life of Countrymen in the Bystry Istok District in the Last Century"
4. "Nature Through the Eyes of an Artist" (paintings by local artist A.M. Balandin depicting the seasons)
5. "Products of the Akutikhinsky Glass Factory"
6. "Products of the Furniture Factory," and others.

The museum also hosts exhibitions and other events.
