Kuryinsky District Museum of Local Lore

The museum consists of 2 halls – the "History of the Kuryinsky District" hall and the "Thematic Exhibitions" hall. The exposition presents items that tell about the history, geography, and ethnography of the Kuryinsky district.

In the first hall, the exposition on the history of the district presents exhibits that tell about the history, geography, and ethnography of the Kuryinsky district and the region. Here you can see the remains of fossil animals, archaeological finds, items of peasant life that tell about the life of the first settlers in Altai, and models made by the museum that introduce modern enterprises of the district.

The second hall of the museum introduces interesting and relevant thematic exhibitions.

During a tour of the museum's halls, visitors will learn in detail about the presented exposition, and will also get acquainted with exhibitions dedicated to jubilee and memorable dates, and creative people of the district. The duration of the tour is 40 minutes.

The museum has developed and conducts an educational tour for tourists on the territory of the church in honor of the "Sign" icon of the Mother of God.
