Brief historical background, collections and exhibitions of the museum
The museum was opened by the decision of the district assembly of deputies in 1991. The first visitors crossed the museum's threshold on November 6, 1992.
The Klyuchevsky District Museum of Local Lore offers the following permanent exhibition sections:
- "A Living Room of the 1930s–1960s"
- "Archaeology"
- "Items of Daily Life and Ethnography. Hall of Military Glory"
- "The District from the Civil War to the Early 1990s" (includes a chronology of different periods in the life of the country and the district: "Collectivization," "The Great Patriotic War," "The Virgin Lands Campaign," "Medicine," "Afghanistan," "Heroes of Our District," "Honored People of the Klyuchevsky District," "The District in the 1980s")
- Sports achievements of the district
- Enterprises of the district in different periods
The restored nature hall presents exhibits of stuffed birds and animals of about 30 species, and natural monuments.
