Brief historical background, collections and exhibitions of the museum
Founder: Synaru Anatpaeva, from the ak-köbök clan, one of the many Altai clans.
Today, the museum welcomes guests in the capital of the Altai Republic – the city of Gorno-Altaisk, on the shore of Altai's main lake – Teletskoye Lake, and in the high-mountain village of Aktash.
